Overview
Days Hotel Bangladesh is seeking a proactive and experienced Manager – Operations to oversee and ensure the smooth functioning of the hotel’s daily operations. The ideal candidate must be a Sri Lankan national with 5-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills. The position is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction.
2. Coordinate with various departments (housekeeping, front office, food & beverage, etc.) to ensure seamless workflow.
3. Monitor operational budgets, control costs, and support revenue management strategies.
4. Implement and maintain high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness across all departments.
5. Supervise and train staff to ensure adherence to organizational policies and professional development.
6. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and complaints to enhance guest satisfaction.
7. Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
8. Assist in the development and execution of operational policies and procedures.
9. Work closely with senior management to develop and execute strategies for operational improvements.
Requirements:
1. Nationality: Sri Lankan (Both female or male candidates eligible).
2. Experience: 5-10 years in the hospitality industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Proven ability to manage operations efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
5. Familiarity with hotel management systems and operational workflows.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
7. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
8. Knowledge of Bangladeshi hospitality trends is an advantage.
