Overview
XTakedowns is hiring two remote Data Entry / Web Investigators to join our growing team. This role is essential in helping us monitor and protect the online content of our clients by tracking piracy activity across the internet. You’ll be conducting deep web investigations, reviewing piracy-related websites, and documenting infringing links with precision and consistency.
This role is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, comfortable with repetitive work, and have strong web navigation skills. You’ll be playing a crucial part in protecting intellectual property in the adult entertainment industry, so professionalism and comfort working with adult content is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily web investigations on piracy websites to locate infringing content
Collect, categorize, and document piracy links in structured spreadsheets
Distinguish between promotional and pirated content using internal guidelines
Utilize tools such as VPNs, browser extensions, and automated scripts (where applicable)
Solve captchas and bypass basic website protections during link harvesting
Maintain consistency and accuracy across data entry tasks
Assist in ongoing campaign tracking, site monitoring, and enforcement preparation
Requirements:
Strong English reading and written communication skills
High attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
Comfortable working with adult content as part of daily responsibilities
Experience navigating a wide range of websites and platforms
Proficient in organizing data using tools like Excel or Google Sheets
Able to recognize patterns in uploader names, file hosts, URLs, and piracy footprints
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace
Familiarity with VPNs, browser tools, or scraping/data collection tools is a plus
Working Hours & Compensation:
Full-time (40 hours/week) with flexible working hours
LKR 100,000/month during the first 1–3 months of training
Increased to LKR 120,000/month after the training phase
Further performance-based increases up to LKR 150,000/month
Paid public holidays and 5 additional paid leave days annually
