Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked store displays
- Assist with Inventory management, including receiving deliveries, restocking, and conducting stock, checks using the FIFO method .
- Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives and uphold high operational standards.
- Oversee purchasing functions to ensure accurate and timely stock replenishment.
- Monitor and manage stock levels (EOQ) and proactively handle restocking needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring proper documentation for purchasing activities
- Manage various stock categories, including main stock, factory stock, spare parts, and service stock
- Organize and maintain stock-related documentation and files.
- Coordinate logistics tasks, including vehicle running charts and vehicle maintenance schedules
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations
Key Requirements:
- Relevant certification or courses in Retail Management, Inventory Control, or Purchasing are an advantage
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and supplier management.
- Strong customer service attitude and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to new tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Basic numeracy and compute skills, including familiarity with ERP systems.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Age below 35.
