Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked store displays
  • Assist with Inventory management, including receiving deliveries, restocking, and conducting stock, checks using the FIFO method .
  • Collaborate with team members to meet store objectives and uphold high operational standards.
  • Oversee purchasing functions to ensure accurate and timely stock replenishment.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels (EOQ) and proactively handle restocking needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring proper documentation for purchasing activities
  • Manage various stock categories, including main stock, factory stock, spare parts, and service stock
  • Organize and maintain stock-related documentation and files.
  • Coordinate logistics tasks, including vehicle running charts and vehicle maintenance schedules
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant certification or courses in Retail Management, Inventory Control, or Purchasing are an advantage
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing and supplier management.
  • Strong customer service attitude and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to new tasks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
  • Basic numeracy and compute skills, including familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Age below 35.
  • Male candidates preferred.
