• Prepare and serve daily vegan, gluten free, and refined sugar free meals
• Develop seasonal menus featuring fresh, local ingredients
• Blend Sri Lankan flavors with European-style plant-based fusion cuisine
• Maintain excellent standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
• Manage inventory and cost control effectively
• Collaborate with the retreat team to ensure seamless service
Candidate Profile
• Certified chef with professional culinary training
• Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience (in compliance with Sri Lanka Tourist Board requirements)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Demonstrated passion for healthy, plant-based cooking and openness to learn
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a proactive team player
