DACK Trading is an internationally recognized trade brokerage firm. We are seeking an experienced International Sales Executive(Agri Commodities) to spread our commodity sales business in Sri Lanka. We facilitate the trading of a diverse range of commodities, handling over 35,000 tons per month of spices, pulses, nuts, grains, sugar, and other products. Our vast network stretches across nearly 60 countries, creating a unique blend of global perspectives and local expertise.

Job Description: The International Sales Executive(Agri Commodities) will be responsible for managing and driving international sales activities within the company while reporting to a Senior Commercial Executive in the team. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of developing strategies to improve sales, effectively handling buyer's inquiries, and continuously meeting sales targets.

Please Note: This is a full time, 100% remote role. Employment type will be"Independent Contractor" and not a contract. To work in this role, you need to have an advanced level of written and oral communication in English.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth
Identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, buyers, partnerships, products, and services
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and buyers relationships
Handle buyer inquiries promptly and effectively
Ensure the delivery of our products in accordance with buyer timelines
Reach out to buyer leads through cold calling, networking, and social media
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of proven international commodity sales experience
Thorough knowledge of grains, nuts, spices, seeds, pulses, sugar, and related commodities is required
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with buyers
Advanced level of oral and written communication in English is mandatory
Interview and Selection Process:
Selected applicants will receive email communication regarding the Theoretical & Practical assessments designed to select the qualified candidates for virtual interview.

Theoretical assessment has to be submitted within 24 hours. Soon after evaluation of the submitted answers, qualified candidate will proceed to the Practical assessment. This test is a replica of an actual international sales scenario that a hired candidate will handle on a daily basis.

Upon successful completion of the practical test, we will invite the selected candidate for virtual interview rounds.

 

Compensation:

We offer competitive professional monthly fees in US Dollars complemented by an exciting commission-based reward system for sales and sourcing.
