Job Description:

The IT Security Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization’s computer systems and networks from threats and vulnerabilities. This role involves developing and implementing security measures, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect IT systems and data.

·        Monitor security systems for anomalies and potential threats and respond to security incidents.

·        Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.

·        Develop and enforce policies and procedures for data security, network access, and backup systems.

·        Train staff in information security best practices.

·        Keep updated with the latest in cybersecurity trends and countermeasures.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are preferred.

·        Strong experience in various areas of IT security, including network security, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.

·        Knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions.

·        Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
