Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Technical Assistant to support our digital initiatives, including online class management, management of our Learning Management System (LMS), classroom scheduling tools, and other IT-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in education technology.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and diagnose technical issues or errors, and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
Maintain an understanding of the organization’s equipment and software.
Offer guidance and step-by-step instructions to help students/lecturers resolve technical problems on their own, including providing support via phone, email, or remote desktop.
Provide hardware, software, and network support.
Maintain a list of equipment and record its movement.
Coordinate assigned classes as a student liaison.
Maintain and organize documentation, including student attendance, lecture feedback, and student feedback forms.
Upload recordings, presentations, and course materials to the Learning Management System (LMS).
Manage classes to ensure a smooth process.
Oversee Student Management System (SMS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
Send calendar invites to online class participants.
Attend workshops and field visits as required, in addition to regular class duties.
Undertake additional tasks as needed due to increased workload.
Required Qualifications & Skills

A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital education tools.
Basic knowledge of networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience in video editing and multimedia content creation is an added advantage.
