Bellevue Chalets, a misty hillside retreat in Ambewela, is hiring a full-time Hotel Manager. We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable professional with excellent hospitality expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage all aspects of operations. The ideal candidate will also be well-versed in modern hospitality trends and online platforms to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction in this serene, remote setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the smooth operation of 4 chalets, the kitchen and overall management.
  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs and reservations.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise housekeeping, maintenance and all on-site staff.
  • Operate and manage the hotel website, booking platforms (e.g.. Booking.com), hotel management systems, and handle email communications efficiently.
  • Control costs and maximize revenue
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in the hotel management field
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
    additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, Hotel Management Systems, emails, etc.)
  • Experience in managing booking platforms (e.g.. Booking.com) and channel managers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Full-time commitment (on-site accommodation provided)

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive salary based on experience (70,000 – 120,000 LKR)
  • Food and accommodation provided
  • Salary may potentially increase based on revenue growth
