Our client is a leading civil engineering consultancy company based overseas. The selected candidate will service the overseas company from Sri Lanka.
We are looking for a dynamic and multi-tasking individual to join our team.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
· Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering
· 7 – 10 years of geotechnical design experience.
· Thorough knowledge of Geotechnical engineering techniques and ability to originate engineering and design calculations.
· Perform various tasks such as Planning and monitoring site investigation programs, geotechnical analysis of foundation systems such as piles, shallow foundations, retaining walls, slope stability analysis and prepare design calculations and drawings.
· Prepare technical documents, including technical specifications, geotechnical data reports, and design reports following applicable design codes and other technical requirements.
· Sound knowledge of site investigations and borehole writing is an added advantage.
· Proficient in GEOSLOPE, PLAXIS 2D, AutoCAD is an added advantage.
· Proficient in MS office Suite
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
Working hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
