Overview
Chalets by Pushella is a newly opening retreat on a misty hillside in Ambewela, offers stunning views of Horton Plains and surrounding mountains. We’re hiring a full-time Hotel Manager to oversee operations and ensure a seamless guest experience. Ideal candidates will have strong hospitality skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities in a tranquil, remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth operation of 4 chalets, the kitchen and overall management
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs and reservations.
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise housekeeping, maintenance and all on-site staff.
- Operate and manage the hotel website, booking platforms (e.g. Booking.com), and handle all email communications efficiently.
- Control costs and maximize revenue
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly
General Requirements:
- Proven experience in the hotel management field
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, emails, etc.).
- Experience in managing booking platforms (e.g. Booking.com).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Full-time commitment (on-site accommodation provided)
Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience (70,000 – 120,000 LKR)
- Food and accommodation provided
- Salary may potentially increase based on revenue growth
