Overview

Required Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building projects.
• Planning experience.
• Proficiency in project planning software (MS Project/ Primavera).
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge relevant to the post contract management will be added as an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive baseline programs using industry-standard planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6, incorporating elements like resource histograms, S-curves, critical path analysis, etc.
• Prepare subsequent revised construction programs and look-ahead schedules to forecast and optimize project timelines.
• Conduct regular monitoring of actual site progress and update the project schedule accordingly, ensuring alignment with the baseline program.
• Liaise with the project team to monitor progress, update schedules, and ensure the timely execution of planned construction activities.
• Identify and report potential delays, and develop and present mitigation strategies as required.
• Participate in progress review meetings and deliver comprehensive project status presentations to stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports of the project in detail and report the same.
• Prepare and issue extension of time (EOT) notices, delay claims, and other contractual correspondence in line with the conditions of the contract.
• Maintain detailed as-built schedules, change logs, and delay event registers for substantiating claims and variations.
• Engage with key project stakeholders, such as the Employer and Consultant, to facilitate communication and ensure project objectives are met.
• Any relevant tasks assigned by the management.
