Position
Electronic technician

We required service technician with electronics diagnostic and basic repair knowledge and experience in setting up, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and devices. They shall diagnose malfunctions, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning of equipment.

This role involves visiting various milk collection centres for installation, configuration and training on the hardware usage and upkeep.

Handle support calls on day-to-day basis, maintain log of issues reported, visiting site to diagnose and repair faults. Travel/visit charges shall be reimbursed by the company.

Weekly and monthly service reporting and managing spares inventory (using MS Excel) will also be an important activity to be undertaken on a timely basis

Required skills
·         Previous 1+ years’ experience as electronic technician or similar role

·         Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry with soldering/de-soldering experience

·         Familiarity working with various tools and equipment for diagnosis of current, voltage and electronics SMD components status

·         Comfortable in MS Office and English communication

·         Excellent physical condition and hand-eye coordination

·         A diploma or apprenticeship as electronic technician

Job Description
·         Troubleshooting problems with electronics and making necessary repairs

·         Setting up and calibrating electronics systems by following schematics and diagrams

·         Conducting service checks and performing routine maintenance to keep electronics functioning properly

·         Giving demonstrations on the safe use, operation and maintenance of equipment

·         Ordering or producing parts needed to make repairs and complete maintenance

·         Maintaining logs that provide dates and details of repairs and maintenance performed and submit detailed service reports in prescribed format

·         Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations
