Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Social Media Marketing Specialist to spearhead the organic growth and paid campaign strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients, with a primary focus on the British demographic. This remote role demands a deep understanding of the UK social media landscape, cultural nuances, and the ability to build brand presence alongside driving growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising social media strategies to achieve a minimum of 20% monthly growth in followers and engagement rates, ultimately generating qualified leads and reinforcing brand messaging for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Brand-Focused Social Media Strategy:Develop comprehensive organic and paid social media strategies that not only drive growth but also align with and amplify the core brand identity of our clients within the UK market.
Conduct thorough audience research, including understanding British demographics, online behaviour, brand perceptions, and competitive landscapes.
Create engaging and brand-consistent content calendars across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Implement effective organic growth tactics that build brand awareness, foster community, and establish our clients as thought leaders or trusted sources within their industries.
Plan, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns that strategically target key demographics and reinforce brand messaging while achieving lead generation and growth targets.
Brand-Aligned Content Creation & Curation:Collaborate closely with our brand strategists, graphic designers, and video editors to create compelling and platform-optimised visual and textual content that authentically reflects each client’s brand voice, values, and aesthetic, resonating with the British audience.
Curate relevant and brand-aligned content from external sources to enhance brand presence, provide value, and foster industry connections.
Adapt content strategies to align with UK cultural events, trends, and sensitivities, ensuring brand relevance and impact.
Brand-Centric Community Management & Engagement:Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally, and cultivate a brand-loyal online community for each client.
Monitor social media conversations for brand mentions, sentiment, and opportunities for engagement and positive brand building.
Implement strategies to encourage audience interaction and participation that reinforces brand values and fosters a sense of community.
Performance Analysis & Brand Impact Reporting:Track, analyse, and report on key social media metrics, including follower growth, engagement rates (likes, comments, shares, saves), website traffic, lead generation, and brand sentiment.
Provide insightful reports to the management team and clients, demonstrating the impact of social media activities not just on growth but also on brand perception and awareness within the UK market.
Identify trends and insights to optimise future strategies and enhance both performance and brand resonance.
Staying Up-to-Date with UK Brand & Social Trends:Continuously stay informed about the latest social media trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices, with a keen understanding of the nuances of the UK market and how they impact brand building.
Research and implement new tools and techniques to enhance social media performance and brand visibility.
Requirements:
Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) managing organic and paid social media campaigns for businesses, with a demonstrable track record of achieving significant growth in followers and engagement while maintaining brand consistency.
Deep understanding of British demographics, culture, social media landscape, and how these elements influence brand perception.
Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices for both growth and brand building.
Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, TikTok Ads).
Experience with audience segmentation, targeting, and retargeting strategies within the UK market, with an understanding of how to align these with brand messaging.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions that benefit both growth and brand development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and culturally relevant content that embodies the client’s brand voice for the British audience.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with our internal brand strategy and creative teams.
