*VACANCY FOR THE POST OF INTERNAL AUDITOR – MALDIVES*

*Job Description:*
• Analyze and assess financial transactions, records, and internal processes to verify
compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best
practices.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws, company policies, and Industry standards.
• Develop and implement pre – audit plans for real-time assessment of financial and
operational activities.
• Ensure systematic and timely monitoring of transactions to detect fraud, errors, and non-
compliance issues at an early stage.
• Identify irregularities, gaps, and potential risks, recommending corrective actions and cost-
saving measures.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with key findings, risk assessments, and
recommendations for strengthening internal controls.
• Conduct real-time and post-transaction verification to ensure operational accuracy and
compliance.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and ensure implementation.
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders to address audit observations and
implement corrective action plans.
• Perform continuous risk assessments, identifying areas vulnerable to fraud,
mismanagement, or inefficiencies.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices to ensure audits
align with evolving compliance requirements.
*Qualifications:*
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CA, or equivalent (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or a similar role with Big 4 (E&Y, KPMG).
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, risk assessment, internal controls, and corporate governance.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with audit or ERP software like SAP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and professional integrity.
