Qualification
Qualified or semi qualified CA/CMA/CPA
Experience
6-7 years of experience in managing a team of 3-4 people having managed revenue between LKR 150 – 200 cr.
Working experience in managing various locations. Manufacturing experience preferred.
Excellent organising, planning and communication skills
Experience of working with and developing finance staff in order to maximise their input into the business
Skills
Cost controlling & reporting
Working closely with operations team, purchases, logistics, stores, production, HR& other support functions
Understanding of legal, statutory requirements including general licence, permit & various compliances as per relevant Srilankan provisions
Finance operations
Overseeing general ledger accounts
Management of receivable, payable & inventory management.
Identify areas of improvement for cost reduction and profit maximisation.
Coordinate closely with internal auditors on the process reviews/improvements.
Ensure timely reconciliation receivables and payables including balance confirmation.
Ensure proper Aggregator balance reconciliation.
Financial closing
Monthly closure of books in time as per the local accounting standards.
MIS
Monthly preparation & submission of MIS & related reports.
Provide financial reports as per the requirement of DT management in India.
Working capital management
Ensure efficient working capital management of the company.
Compliances
Ensure timely statutory compliances for various functions with respect to deduction and remittance.
Ensure proper review of all agreements and ensure compliance as per local requirements.
Audit
Ensure timely completion Internal, External & Tax as per Srilankan statutory requirements
Due Diligence
Prepare financial evaluation for new stores.
Technology proficiency
Proficiency in Excel, word, PPT a must while SAP experience is preferred
