Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Outreach: Identify potential customers in the HORECA sector, initiate contact via calls, and set up appointments for product demonstrations.
Product Promotion: Present and showcase our melamine tableware to prospective clients, highlighting its unique features and benefits.
Order Acquisition: Build relationships with decision-makers, negotiate effectively, and secure orders to achieve sales targets.
Field Work: Meet clients in person, provide product samples, and establish trust as a credible representative of the Five Star Melamine brand.
Sales Strategy: Explore sales opportunities both in Colombo and islandwide, contributing to the growth of the brand in untapped markets.
Market Feedback: Provide regular feedback on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activity to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Prior experience as a sales representative, agent, or similar role is highly preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent people skills with a persuasive yet honest, friendly, and credible demeanor.
Sales Acumen: Strong ability to build rapport, negotiate deals, and close sales effectively.
Mobility: Must possess a valid driving or riding license. Owning a method of transportation (motorcycle or vehicle) is preferred.
Self-Motivated: Proactive and goal-oriented individual with a strong drive to exceed targets.
Communication: Fluency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is essential, and proficiency in English will be an added advantage.
