Forvis Mazars is a globally recognized leader in audit, accounting, and tax advisory services. As we plan to enter themarket in Sri Lanka, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Partner to lead our operations in Colombo.
This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in audit, tax, or advisory services, who is also capable of managing the firm’s operations, growing the business, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
✔ Establish and grow Forvis Mazars’ presence in Colombo by developing market entry strategies.
✔ Identify and pursue new business opportunities in audit, accounting, and tax advisory.
✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients.
✔ Represent Forvis Mazars in industry events, regulatory discussions, and networking forums.
Client Management & Service Excellence
✔ Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, providing high-level financial insights and strategic advisory services.
✔ Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan financial regulations and international accounting standards.
✔ Oversee audit and advisory engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Office & Team Management
✔ Lead and manage a team of audit, accounting, and tax professionals in the Colombo office.
✔ Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring continuous staff development.
✔ Oversee daily operations, workflow efficiency, and overall profitability of the office.
Financial & Operational Oversight
✔ Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue growth strategies.
✔ Work closely with global partners to align the Colombo office’s performance with the company’s long-term goals.
✔ Ensure effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
✅ Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW, ICAA, or ACCA or equivalent)
✅ Experience:
10+ years in audit, accounting, or tax advisory, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of Sri Lankan tax laws, financial regulations, and business environment.
Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
Experience in office setup and operational management is a plus.
