### Job Title: POS Systems Administrator / Technical Support Specialist

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled **POS Systems Administrator** or **Technical Support Specialist** to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining our Point of Sale (POS) systems, ensuring smooth daily operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support for retail system environments. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling both hardware and software aspects of POS systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Manage and maintain POS systems across multiple locations, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
– Provide technical support and troubleshooting for POS hardware, software, and peripherals.
– Install, configure, and update POS systems and related technology (scanners, printers, cash drawers, etc.).
– Ensure data integrity, backups, and security of the POS system.
– Diagnose and resolve system issues, including connectivity, software errors, and hardware malfunctions.
– Collaborate with the IT and operations teams to implement new technologies and upgrades.
– Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of POS systems and troubleshooting common issues.
– Maintain documentation of POS system configurations, updates, and troubleshooting procedures.
– Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and proactively implement solutions.
– Coordinate with external vendors for system updates, repairs, and support when needed.

**Requirements:**
– Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting POS systems, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
– Strong technical knowledge of both hardware and software aspects of POS systems.
– Proficiency in network troubleshooting, data management, and system configuration.
– Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to train non-technical staff.
– Experience with system security and backup solutions.
– Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management systems is a plus.
