Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments for the association.
  • Maintain records and files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
  • Communicate effectively with members, vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Assist in drafting letters, memos, and other documents as required
  • Update and maintain databases related to membership, donors, and contacts.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in administrative support and basic accounting functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and fundraising processes is desirable
