Overview
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails
- Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments for the association.
- Maintain records and files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
- Communicate effectively with members, vendors, and external stakeholders
- Assist in drafting letters, memos, and other documents as required
- Update and maintain databases related to membership, donors, and contacts.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in administrative support and basic accounting functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of nonprofit organizations and fundraising processes is desirable
