Job Title: Barman
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Barman to join our team at the newly opened Restaurant and Bar at Grand Rovinka Hotel. As a Barman, you will be responsible for beverage service while also incorporating excellent sales techniques to generate revenue for the Bar Department in the Restaurant and Bar.
Responsibilities:
– Perform restocking and cleaning duties as instructed, including specific tasks during the opening and closing of the restaurant.
-Manage inventory, handle ordering, and ensure the stocking of all wine, liquor, and beer.
-Keep track of glassware inventory and promptly communicate any shortages to management.
-Prepare and serve a variety of drinks to customers, encompassing alcoholic and non-alcoholic options such as wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks.
-Verify customers’ identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance, adhering to state and corporate regulations.
-Ensure timely payment of all customer checks and tabs, record daily sales totals, and input the data into the point-of-sale system.
Additional responsibilities include serving, bussing tables, seating guests, as well as assisting Managers with scheduling, training, ensuring compliance with state laws as well as all operating procedures.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry.
– Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
– Attention to detail and ability to work independently
– Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies
-Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
-Must have excellent organizational and administrative skills
-Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
