Vacancy: Main Accountant (Full-Time)

A reputed private sector engaged in a 5 year foreign-funded  contract based infrastructure project invites applications for the role of Main Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Handle monthly payroll, EPF/ETF submissions, and tax documentation.
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Monitor project expenses and manage financial tracking for contracts.
* Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Ensure full compliance with Sri Lankan accounting standards and company policies.
* Maintain strict confidentiality in all financial matters.

 

Requirements:

* Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (CA/ACCA/CIMA preferred).
* Proven experience in a senior accounting role (minimum 3–5 years).
* Experience in foreign contract-based projects is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must. ( Sinhala – optional)
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.

 

Employment Type:

* Full-Time – Monday to Friday ( 9 am – 5 pm)
* Based in Colombo / project site office
* Competitive salary based on experience – Negotiable
