Overview
We are looking for Assistant Accountant with exceptional skills and passion for travel services to join our dynamic team!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
All activities related to Accounting Department, and /or any other relevant duties as assigned by the Employer. The full list of duties and responsibilities will be given to you once you arrive in Office of Lets Go Maldives.
The Employee will work under and follow instructions from the CEO and Financial Controller and any other senior employee assigned by the CEO, which is required to efficiently operate the company as an ongoing business.
Assuring that all facilities provided by the Employer to the Employee and staff under this Employee, will be used for the sole benefit of the company.
The Employee is liable for calculation error or other mistakes which may cause a loss for the Employer, and in such cases the Employee must cover the loss.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience working in the tourism or hospitality industry.
Familiarity with international payment systems and regulations.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in calculations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical behavior in handling financial matters.
