Background:

MSF Facilities department manages the logistics, supply and infrastructural requirements of our entities in India and Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka , we have opened a new office which is still being set up in terms of logistics and systems. It is a good opportunity for an intern to be trained on basic logistics, supply and infrastructural management of an institutional office.

Objectives of the Internship

The following are the objectives of this internship: 

  • Data management of stock related to office and guest house.
  • Policy adaptation work of the department in collaboration with the team.
  • Support in setting up of basic logistic processes in office.
  • Any other work as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Duration:

3 months – with possible extension up to 6 months

Work Location:

  • Office Location: 3rd Floor, M2M Veranda Building, W.A.D. Ramanayake Mawatha, Colombo – 02
  • Work Timing: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • Work Days: Monday – Friday
  • Department and Reporting Authority: Logistics Supply & Procurement Manager

Requirements
Required skills:

  • Background information & knowledge about logistics or facilities function is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of MSF office package including Excel, Power Point and Word
  • ​Graduate or pursuing masters in Logistics, management stream, etc

Internship Allowance :

  • The MSF South Asia intern will get an allowance for the number of days worked (LKR 1,892/- per day).
  • The intern will be covered for accident insurance
