Job Description: Odoo Software Developer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Odoo Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Odoo’s framework and modules, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop customized solutions to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Odoo Development:
Develop, customize, and enhance Odoo modules based on business needs.
Design and implement new features and functionalities within the Odoo framework.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Integration and APIs:
Integrate Odoo with third-party applications using APIs and connectors.
Ensure seamless data exchange between Odoo and other systems.
Testing and Debugging:
Conduct thorough testing to ensure code quality, performance, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Odoo modules and customizations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand and implement project requirements.
Provide support to end-users and assist in the deployment process.
System Maintenance:
Perform regular updates and maintenance of the Odoo system.
Monitor system performance and optimize as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in Odoo development (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
Proficiency in Python and knowledge of Odoo’s ORM, workflows, and framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of business processes, including CRM, ERP, inventory, and accounting.
Knowledge of Odoo installation, configuration, and module deployment.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Problem-solving mindset with excellent analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Odoo certification is a plus.
Experience with Linux/Unix systems and server management.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
