Job title: Technology and IT Specialist
Candidate Requirements:
• Degree / Diploma in engineering, IT or related field
• Excellent people management, organisation, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
• 3-5 years working experience
• Good working knowledge and field application of industrial automation concepts
• Knowledge and experience with irrigation systems, relays, sensors (humidity, pH, TDS, electroconductivity)
Duties & Responsibilities:
• You will be involved in:
• Managing procurement, installation and renewal of computer and IT infrastructure of the company, with 15-20 users.
• Perform periodic maintenance and updates to computers, servers, and NAS
• Maintain and troubleshoot and escalate IT issues to external vendors when necessary
• Maintenance of CCTV surveillance system in accordance with statutory requirements
• Work closely with Management and engineering team to executive farm automation projects
• Design, procurement and installation of automation components, panel boards and systems
• Assist in operational and administrative duties
