Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Administrator with strong English communication skills to join our team at XTakedowns, a leading copyright protection agency. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, efficient at web browsing, and has a passion for online rights protection. As a Web Administrator, you will be responsible for managing client campaigns and conducting web investigations to identify and mitigate piracy activities on various websites.
Your day-to-day tasks will include repetitive but crucial processes such as site harvesting, captcha solving, and collecting infringing links from piracy sites. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the swift removal of infringing content, making a meaningful impact in protecting intellectual property rights online.
This is a long-term, full-time position where attention to detail, strong English communication, and proactive problem-solving are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough web investigations on piracy sites and report findings.
Manage and maintain client campaigns, ensuring piracy takedown processes are followed.
Utilize browser tools to solve captchas and bypass basic site protections.
Harvest URLs and links from piracy websites for further action.
Support other teams with investigation data and assist in ongoing monitoring efforts.
Requirements:
Proficient in written and spoken English for effective communication with clients and team members.
Strong web browsing efficiency and experience navigating different types of websites.
A logical, process-driven mindset to learn and master repetitive tasks.
High attention to detail, with the ability to spot patterns and potential issues.
Basic technical proficiency in browser tools and web-based applications.
An interest in copyright protection and web investigation is a plus.
