Our client, a leading hotel management company in Colombo is looking for a GENERAL MANAGER to one of their wild life lodge and bungalows in the eastern province of Sri Lanka.

He should oversee all aspects of the property, ideally someone with a passion of wildlife and experience in hotel management, sales and marketing.

He would be expected to split his time at the lodge supporting the lodge manager and half of his time in the Colombo office dealing with sales/marketing and admin etc


·          Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model.

Head up all sales and marketing including social media and dealing with agents both International and local.
·         Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits.


·         Proven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role

·         Experience in Sales and Marketing

·         Degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management or relevant field

·         Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

·         Willing to work 40% based in the Hotel and 60% at the Colombo office

·         Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail.

·         Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset.
