Position Name: IFS FSM Cloud Solution Architect (Service Management)
Role Brief:
The IFS Cloud Solution Architect (Service Management) is responsible for upgrading to IFS FSM 6.0 and working with IFS Cloud Service Management Solutions, including PSO, Mobile, and Integrations. The role involves collaborating with Solutions/Presales teams and Business Architects to understand customer requirements, building “As-is” and “To-be” states, and providing functional product solutions. The architect will also handle deployment, integration, and data migration activities on the IFS cloud solution.

Job Description:
As an IFS Cloud Solution Architect (Service Management), an upgrade to IFS FSM 6.0 and should have hands-on experience with IFS cloud Service Management Solution including PSO, Mobile, and Integrations.
You are expected to work alongside the Solutions/Presales teams and Business Architects to understand prospect and customer business and functional requirements.
You should be able to build the “As-is” and “To-be” state of the organization to provide a functional product solution and demonstrate it back wherever required.
You should have experience in deployment, integration, and data migration activities on the IFS cloud solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Presentations and Demonstrations: Participate in internal and customer/prospect-facing product presentations and demonstrations.
Customer Discovery Sessions: Facilitate and document prospect during customer discovery sessions to uncover business processes and functional requirements.
Technical Questions: Provide answers to technical questions in a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP).
Design Documentation: Prepare design documents from functional requirements around IFS FSM 6 / IFS Service Management Cloud along with designing workflows and integration design.
Operations and Maintenance Requirements:
Incident Management: Manage incidents escalated from L2 support, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
Change Management: Handle change requests related to configuration, code, database, or jobs. Analyze the requirements for changes, propose solution alternatives, and document the changes.
Enhancements and Bug Fixing: Perform enhancements and bug fixes as part of the support scope. This includes analyzing customizations done by existing vendors and ensuring they align with the overall system architecture.
Infrastructure Support: Although infrastructure, database, and operating system support are not part of the IFS scope, you will need to coordinate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Documentation: Maintain all relevant documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and user manuals for dispatchers, field technicians, and administrators.
Support Model: Provide support to the operations team to ensure continuous operation and quick resolution of issues.

Project Management and Governance:
Project Organization Structure: Establishment of project organization structure, team mobilization, planning, and scheduling.
Implementation Activities: Detailed build scope, business process design, documentation, unit test cases, training, and stakeholder sign-off.
This role requires a deep understanding of IFS product capabilities and the ability to translate business processes and value drivers into functional solutions. It also involves leading workshops and discovery engagements with clients to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
