Overview

• The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting transactions of the Company including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliations, Tax returns, month-end journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations as well as assisting with the monthly management accounts. The role will also assist with stock takes and the processing of stock deliveries as well as deputizing from time to time.
• Knowledge & Skills Required·         Age between 23-40 years·         At least 1year experience in a similar Finance role

  ·         Degree, part-qualified CA or Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent.

  ·         Previous experience in an advertising or medium scale production industry would be a distinct advantage

  ·         Strong MS Excel skills

  ·         Strong communication skills – written and verbal Sinhala/English

  ·         Highly organized with the ability to manage own workload/priorities and largely work independently in what is very much a stand-alone role
