About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Director to join our executive leadership team, overseeing financial operations across the UAE and UK. This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing corporate finance, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and shareholder reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, leadership acumen, and an ability to drive performance across geographically diverse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement forward-looking financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize overall financial performance.
Ensure compliance with UAE & UK tax laws, VAT regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities in both the UAE and the UK.
Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance financial efficiency across all departments.
Support M&A activities, capital investments, and business expansion initiatives.
Deliver timely and accurate financial insights and strategic recommendations to the Shareholder and board.
Support and review financial accounts of UK-based entities owned by the shareholder.
Review and analyze overheads and operational expenses of each company to improve cost control.
Evaluate and recommend efficient tax structures for the shareholder’s UK income and cross-border operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification preferred).
At least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 3+ years in a senior role within the UAE or GCC region.
Strong knowledge of UAE and UK financial regulations, tax laws, and IFRS standards.
Experience with financial systems and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Demonstrated strength in financial analysis, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with executive stakeholders and investors.
Fluent in English
