Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse/store. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, timely dispatch and receipt of goods, and proper documentation to support production and operational needs in a manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and products.
  • Issue raw materials, tools, and equipment to production teams as per requirement.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory checks and stock reconciliation.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of items in the store.
  • Maintain updated records of receipts, issues, and stock balances using manual or digital systems.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and production teams for timely delivery and dispatch.
  • Monitor the movement of goods to avoid losses or damages.
  • Follow FIFO/LIFO methods as required for raw material usage.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.
  • Prepare regular stock reports and notify management of low stock levels or discrepancies.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Passed G.C.E. O/L or A/L (additional qualifications in logistics/inventory management is a plus)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel or inventory software systems
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle physical inventory
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
