Overview
The Role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with experience selling into manufacturing and/or maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B software sales—preferably in CMMS, MES, EAM, or OEE solutions—and will be comfortable managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract close.
You’ll be working remotely from Sri Lanka, reporting to our UK-based sales leadership, and targeting both local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with maintenance managers, production managers, and senior decision-makers.
Manage the entire sales process including prospecting, needs analysis, software demonstrations, proposals, and negotiation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials.
Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Salesforce).
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ B2B sales experience in manufacturing technology or industrial software.
Proven success selling into manufacturing or maintenance teams.
Experience with CMMS, MES, EAM, OEE, or similar industrial software (highly desirable).
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Comfortable working remotely with international teams.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own pipeline effectively.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
