About The Role
Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Join our growing team at United Freight Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, a leading freight forwarding company dedicated to delivering world-class logistics solutions across air, sea, and land.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage finance operations for UFS branches in Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Thailand.
Audit invoices raised by each station and verified accuracy of freight service billing.
Manage and reconcile global Statements of Accounts (SOA) and follow up on receivables and overdue payments.
Process and verify vendor payments (shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, etc.) and ensure timely settlements.
Reconcile vendor and customer SOAs to ensure zero discrepancies. Prepare and circulate weekly SOA updates and follow up on outstanding balances.
Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet). Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for all UFS stations.
Record all financial transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
Coordinate with auditors and consultants for tax assessments and audit requirements.
Collaborate with operations and sales teams on job costing, pricing, and billing queries.
Support financial aspects of company renewals, registrations, and payroll processes.

Requirements
Professional Accounting Qualifications. (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
5+ years of experience in Freight forwarding Finance field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulation.
Proven team management experience.
Strong analytical skills with systematic problem -solving approach
Results oriented with the drive to grow an international Air/Ocean freight forwarding business.
ERP system experience in (Gensoft & Cargowise ERP platforms)
Ability to work with overseas Branches and overseas Agents and other stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a hunter mindset.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office other Accounts ·
Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
