Key Responsibilities
Manage and automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and scaling.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient software delivery.
Administer and optimize Linux servers and web runtimes (Nginx, PHP-FPM).
Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-based environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar).
Utilize Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to manage infrastructure.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Manage Docker containers and support containerized environments.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and system reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, networking, and security.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of industry experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and Bash scripting.
Hands-on experience with:
Web servers & runtimes: Nginx, PHP-FPM
IaC tools: Terraform
Monitoring tools: New Relic (bonus: Prometheus, Grafana)
Databases: MySQL, MongoDB
Containers: Docker
Version control & CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins (or similar)
Cloud platforms: AWS, DigitalOcean (or similar)
Good understanding of networking fundamentals (ports, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
