Job Title: Human Resources Officer (HR Officer)

Location: Kantoor, Colombo, Sri Lanka
Salary Range: LKR 40,000 – LKR 80,000 (Monthly)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Role OverviewThe HR Officer will handle recruitment, HR policy development, employee management, performance tracking, and compliance. The ideal candidate should be confident, organized, and experienced in managing HR functions independently.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & StaffingManage end-to-end hiring: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
Work with department heads to understand and fulfill manpower needs.
Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
2. HR Policy Making & ComplianceDraft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws.
Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policy documents.
3. Employee Management & RelationsAddress employee queries, conflicts, and grievances.
Maintain positive employee relations and foster a good work culture.
Conduct team-building and engagement activities.
4. Attendance, Payroll & DocumentationManage attendance, leaves, and daily HR operations.
Provide accurate monthly payroll inputs.
Maintain employee files, agreements, and personal records.
5. Performance ManagementTrack KPI performance, probation reviews, and appraisals.
Support managers in performance improvement plans.
6. General HR SupportSupport management in planning HR strategies.
Handle HR operations and administrative duties as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills1–3 years of HR experience (Recruitment is mandatory).
Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR tools.
