Job Title: Travel Desk Agent
Department: Front Office
Reports To: General Manager / Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
The Travel Desk Agent is responsible for assisting guests with all travel-related arrangements and ensuring they enjoy a seamless and memorable stay. This includes organizing transportation, tours, excursions, and providing destination information. The role requires excellent communication skills, local knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests in planning and organizing their travel itineraries, including local tours, sightseeing, and transportation.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information on local attractions, cultural experiences, dining, and entertainment options.
Coordinate with tour operators, transportation providers, and external partners to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Handle inquiries and reservations efficiently via phone, email, or in person.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, confirmations, and billing.
Promote hotel experiences, packages, and partnerships with local attractions.
· Handle and resolve guest inquiries or concerns related to the travel desk promptly and with professionalism.
Maintain an organized and visually appealing travel desk area.
Stay informed on current tourism trends, local events, and special promotions.
Work collaboratively with the front office, concierge, and guest relations teams to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a hotel travel desk, tour agency, or concierge service is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of local attractions, culture, and geography.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel booking systems.
Multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
