Overview

Lanka Phosphate Limited is a fully State-owned Company coming under the purview of the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development. The business of the company is excavating, processing and selling of Rock Phosphate and High Grade Rock Phosphate Fertilizer locally.

The company is now in the process of developing new projects to expand the production capacity and manufacturing of more soluble forms of fertilizer to meet the entire national requirements. The company is seeking for an energetic, dynamic result oriented and knowledgeable individual with professional qualifications for the following post at the company project site Eppawala.

b. Should have a good physical and health condition, decent character, exceptional interpersonal
leadership skills, good vision and ability to work at any part of Country.
c. Should have a strong communication skill, fluent in English and ability to work in a computerized
environment.

01. PRODUCTION ENGINEER – (MM 1 -1) (01 Post in Manager Category)

Educational Qualifications and Experience:
B.Sc. Degree in Mining & Mineral Processing Engineering from a recognized university accredited by the
University Grant Commission of Sri Lanka.
And
After obtaining the Degree, at least five (05) years of working experience from state or recognized private
Organization in the relevant field with a proven track record.
Salary Scale: MM 1-1 2016 A – (Rs. 91,690-10×2,480-15×3,450-168,240/-)
Present Salary Step – Rs. 81,710/=
Above salary scale will be applicable from 01st January 2027 as per the Management Services Circular No.
01/2025
Age: Above 22 years and not more than 45 years of age as at 01st May 2026
(Upper age limit will not be applicable to those who are presently employed in Government Sector, State
Corporations / Companies and Statutory Boards and their applications should be forwarded through the
Heads of their respective Institutions)
