We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our growing cosmetics manufacturing team in Nugegoda. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about production operations, quality standards, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily production and manufacturing activities according to established procedures.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Support packing, labeling, processing, and handling of cosmetic products.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene within the production area.
Work closely with the production team to achieve daily production targets.
Requirements
Diploma, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Food Technology, Science, Production Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, packing, or processing environment will be an added advantage.
Experience in herbal, cosmetic, food, or natural product industries is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, and workplace safety procedures.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
