Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and finance activities of our organization. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting procedures, financial documentation, and record keeping, along with good communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in an Accounts or Finance role.
Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must be currently available to join.
Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and financial documentation.
Basic understanding of maintaining financial records and accounting information.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.
Willingness to learn and develop accounting and finance-related skills.
Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
Maintain and update financial records and accounting documentation.
Assist with preparing and organizing invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
Support the preparation and maintenance of accounts and financial reports.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Record and verify financial transactions accurately.
Assist with bank reconciliations and other basic accounting reconciliations.
Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
Coordinate with relevant departments regarding payments, invoices, and financial documentation.
Support the Accounts/Finance team with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
