Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant for a full-time position at an advertising industry company in Pannipitiya. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of relevant work experience, good numerical and organizational skills, and the ability to support day-to-day accounting and administrative activities. The candidate must be living very close to Pannipitiya and be available for an interview immediately within the week.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in accounting or a related role.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be living very close to Pannipitiya.
Must be available for an interview immediately within the week.
Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.
Record and update financial transactions accurately.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
Assist in bank reconciliations and other routine financial reconciliations.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of payments and expenses.
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries when required.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial documentation.
Support the Accounts/Finance team with general administrative and accounting tasks.
Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
