Overview
We are looking for a Senior Executive – Freight Sales & Marketing to support business growth by developing new client relationships, managing existing customers, and promoting freight forwarding services. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of air and ocean freight operations, pricing structures, and customer service, with proven experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding, Commercial Operations, Sales, or Customer Service.
Sound knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and freight pricing structures.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding and logistics processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with freight forwarding software will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector.
Promote and sell air freight, ocean freight, and related logistics services.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Prepare and negotiate freight quotations and pricing proposals.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight pricing.
Follow up on sales leads, customer inquiries, and business opportunities.
Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
