PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To be responsible for strategizing and selling the organization’s International and local school resources to schools and distributors in given territory. This position will work alongside another Sales Consultant to deliver the sales budget assigned for School Education segment for Sri Lanka.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS
• Responsible for covering International Schools and local curriculum schools i.e. EDEXCEL, Cambridge, OIC & Sri Lankan curriculum schools.
• Driving a double-digit growth in business and managing a revenue.
• Ensure end-to-end services to the schools around resources prescribed by them e.g. tracking orders, offering teaching support, organizing training/workshops etc.
• Handling key distributor accounts and keeping close track of their orders and payments. Timely collection of overdue to achieve collection budgets.
• Make presentations on the organization’s print & digital offer to teachers/schools wherever required.
• Acquire product knowledge for the portfolio currently sold by the organization in the region & any new resources (print/digital) to be launched.
• Support the organization colleagues handling curriculum business  with meeting the expectations of the schools for resource review and timely supplies.
• Promote digital products to drive additional revenue.
• To ensure that daily sales calls feedback is informed to the manager and sales adoptions are logged in the sales tracker at regular frequency
• Be the first point of contact for addressing school/distributors’ queries on resources in the region

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Education or related sectors.
• Teaching background or know-how of Education sector (Schools, Assessments, Curriculum)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have geographical knowledge of Sri Lanka.
• Job requires extensive travelling. Should be open to travel acrossthe region.
• Must know basics of sales force, excel, ppt

KEY INTERFACES
• Internal: International Schools Sales team, Customer Service team, Warehouse team catering to exports, Manager and other Departmental Heads across Product and Marketing.
• External: Distributors, School heads and teachers of private and public institutions and Early years center.
