Overview
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kadawatha for Wealth Planners and Wealth Planner Managers. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and life-stage priorities, and designing tailored wealth and protection plans using AIA’s insurance and investment solutions. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial proposals, reviewing existing policies, monitoring portfolio performance, and conducting regular follow-ups with clients. Wealth Planners and Wealth Planner Managers will collaborate with internal teams, participate in training sessions, and stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and AIA product updates to provide accurate, up-to-date guidance. The managerial component includes mentoring and supporting team members, driving sales performance, and ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to assess client needs and develop comprehensive wealth plans.
Candidates should possess skills in Investment Management and Investments to construct, monitor, and adjust client portfolios aligned with risk and return objectives.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance products and solutions to recommend appropriate life and health coverage as part of holistic financial strategies.
Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field are beneficial; professional certifications in financial planning or insurance are an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a client-focused mindset are essential.
Proven ability to build long-term relationships, work toward performance targets, and maintain high ethical and compliance standards is highly valued.
Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, or insurance advisory roles is an asset.
