Overview

The Telemarketer plays a key role in supporting the sales development team by initiating contact with potential clients, nurturing leads, and scheduling qualified appointments. This role ensures a steady pipeline of opportunities for the sales team, contributing to overall business growth.

Salary: Lkr 500 to Lkr 700/ Per Hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce company products/services.
Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and gather relevant information for sales follow-up.
Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and outcomes in CRM systems.
2. Sales Development Support

Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for the sales team.
Provide initial information to prospects, addressing basic inquiries before handing over to sales representatives.
Collaborate with sales development representatives (SDRs) to refine scripts and outreach strategies.
3. Customer Engagement

Build rapport with prospects through professional and persuasive communication.
Conduct follow-up calls to nurture warm leads and re-engage dormant contacts.
Share promotional offers or campaigns to drive interest and conversions.
4. Skills & Competencies

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Persuasive and confident phone manner with resilience to handle rejection.
Basic understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Ability to follow scripts while adapting to different customer responses.
