Overview
Engineer – Project Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and market development for pre-fabricated steel buildings and structural steel solutions.
Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Meet clients, conduct site visits, understand project requirements, and propose suitable steel building solutions.
Prepare technical proposals, preliminary designs, drawings, and cost inputs for tenders and quotations.
Negotiate with customers and work closely with internal fabrication or foreign Principals, and installation teams to deliver projects successfully.
Build long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, and end-users.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum 2 years of experience in pre-engineered buildings / structural steel works, with exposure to sales, business development or project handling.
Strong technical knowledge of structural steel design, PEB concepts, and construction practices.
Proven ability to generate leads, close sales, and grow customer accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to travel across Sri Lanka.
Valid riding / driving license required.
