About The Role

Location: Colombo 03 (with minimum 3 days per week at the factory)

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead our Operations Excellence function. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, optimize manufacturing processes, and lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence strategies across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
Drive process improvement initiatives through LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and industrial engineering practices.
Develop flexible operating models responsive to changing business and economic conditions.
Oversee digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to modernize operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute productivity and efficiency enhancements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure continuous improvement in operational metrics.
Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to teams in process excellence methodologies
Partner with senior management to align operational strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
10–15+ years of experience leading operational excellence functions in dairy, FMCG, or food processing industries, with international exposure.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven expertise in LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, work study, work measurement, and industrial engineering.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0, automation, digital transformation, and data analytics.
