About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Manager – General Insurance to lead and oversee insurance operations, sales performance, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, in-depth knowledge of general insurance products, and experience working in a brokering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the General Insurance division.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and business partners.
Oversee underwriting, policy administration, and claims handling processes.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence.
Monitor business performance and prepare management reports.
Identify new business opportunities and drive customer retention initiatives.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in General Insurance.
Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Prior experience working in an insurance brokering company is essential.
Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certification is required or strongly preferred.
Proven experience in both operations management and sales management.
Strong knowledge of general insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
