Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our construction team. The QA Officer will play a key role in ensuring that all civil construction activities, materials, and processes comply with company, client, and industry quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of civil engineering practices and a passion for maintaining excellence across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain the company’s Quality Assurance system across civil construction projects.
Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and standards to establish quality requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, work procedures, and finished work to ensure compliance with standards.
Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality checklists.
Identify non-conformities, investigate root causes, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors to promote a quality-focused culture.
Monitor subcontractor and supplier quality performance and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Support ISO standard compliance and assist in preparing for internal or external audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
GCE A/L or partly qualified in HND / NCT / NVQ Level 03 in the Construction field.
1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles within civil construction projects (an added advantage).
Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, methods, testing procedures, and quality management systems.
Familiarity with industry-standard QA tools and documentation software.
Excellent communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.
Age: Between 25 – 35 years.
