We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our sports showroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sports retail market, excellent sales and networking skills, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. This role involves building partnerships, driving showroom sales, managing promotional activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities to boost showroom sales and brand visibility.
Build and manage relationships with schools, colleges, gyms, sports clubs, and corporate clients for bulk orders and long-term partnerships.
Execute local marketing campaigns and promotional events to increase footfall and brand awareness.
Analyze customer feedback and market trends to suggest new products and improve the shopping experience.
Collaborate with the Managing Director to plan product merchandising and inventory management based on market demand.
Track competitor activity and pricing strategies to remain competitive.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report performance metrics to senior management.
🛠️ Requirements
experience in business development, retail sales, or sports merchandising is a plus.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for sports and good knowledge of sports products and trends.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
