The Job

  • Channel Fault identification & rectification in minimum down time
  • Check & adjust audio levels and picture quality of all channels and & video synchronization on channels
  • Check local channel receiving condition
  • Channel blocking – by slide on request and by colour bars on request
  • Take High-Power Amplifier (HPA) readings on request & network failure
  • Finger print execution on scheduled for channel provider request
  • Insert crawler to channel on request
  • Inquiring DBN NOC / TAC for the channel failure
  • Mobile Streaming Server Troubleshooting on request
  • Inquiring local channels MCR or Engineering team relevant party for local channels failure
  • Inquiring international channels MCR, Channel service provides for international channels failure.
  • Coordinate DTV business development unit for international channel issues.
  • Faulty Integrated Receiver Decoder (IRD), Audio Video Processing Card (IQ) card replace.
  • Inform faulty of IVG, Encoders, and other transmission equipment
  • Inform & get advice for STB error messages
  • Inform & get advice for Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card failure& other technical problem related to customer premises equipment
  • Preparing monthly down time reports
  • Provide Direct To Home (DTH) network downtime reports on request and all the other relevant reports when needed.

 

The Person should have at least one qualification of following,

  • NV Q Level -5 / IVQ Level -5
  • City & Guilds Advanced Diploma
  • HNDE – Higher National Diploma in Engineering
  • NDT
  • National Diploma in Engineering Sciences – NDES
  • Diploma in Technology (OUSL)
  • Advance Diploma in Telecommunication Technology
  • Advance Diploma in Information & Communication Technology
  • Advance Diploma in Information Technology
  • Advance Diploma in Construction Technology
  • National Diploma in Engineering Technology
